Contemporary subcultural form has been referred to as
hipster in North America, South America, Australia and Europe. It has been
described as a “mutating tastes and behavior.”
I’ve chosen to revolve around hip-hop fashion on youth.
Hip-hop fashion has always been a subculture since late 1970s till now; it is a
distinctive style of dress originating from New York City, Los Angeles, San
Francisco and etc. Hip-hop fashion complements the expressions and attitudes of
hip-hop culture in general. Hip-hop fashion has changed significantly during
its history, and today, it is across the whole world as a popular fashion.
In the photograph, those girls are dressed in hip-hop style
clothes, they’re very easy to recognize, as the fashion are very unique. For
contemporary hip-hop fashion, it’s all about crop tops and baggy pants also
snapbacks and amazing hair color. For example the girl the on the left side
have green colored hair. The fashion is been mixed with all the different kinds
of colors, also the types of shoes are important.
This is one of the contemporary subculture styles, hip-hop
fashion.
